CentralDesk offers a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so you can connect an AI assistant like Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Muse to your Amazon business and ask about it in plain language.
https://centraldesk.io/app/mcp/
The same URL for every assistant and every CentralDesk account. You'll sign in and choose which Amazon account to connect on the next screen.
No query language, just ask.
Pick your assistant below for the exact clicks, start to finish.
AI products change their settings menus often. These steps reflect each product's own current setup flow. If a label doesn't match what you see, the shape of the flow (add a connector, paste the URL, sign in, approve) is still the same, and the assistant's own help center will have the current wording.
Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. To connect CentralDesk, just tell your Muse agent:
Connect to CentralDesk's MCP server at https://centraldesk.io/app/mcp/
Muse will give you a secure link to sign in with your CentralDesk account. Choose the Amazon account you want it to reach on the approval screen, and you're connected.
Works on Free, Pro, and Max plans. On Team or Enterprise, an Owner adds the connector once and members connect individually.
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. (Team/Enterprise Owners: use Organization settings → Connectors instead.)
Click Add custom connector. (Owners: click Add, then Custom, and choose Web if asked for a type.)
Paste the MCP server URL from above, and give it a name, your store name works well.
Leave Authentication on whatever Claude detects. CentralDesk registers itself automatically, so there's nothing else to fill in.
Click Add, then Connect. A CentralDesk sign-in and approval screen opens. Sign in, choose the Amazon account you want the assistant to reach, and click Allow access.
Team/Enterprise members: open Customize → Connectors, find CentralDesk under Custom, and click Connect to run the same sign-in step for your own account.
In any chat, click the + button, open Connectors, and turn CentralDesk on for that conversation. Then just ask.
Read-only access is rolling out to individual Pro accounts through Developer Mode. Actions like pausing a campaign, setting a budget, or opening a ticket currently need a Business, Enterprise, or Edu workspace where an admin turns on developer mode and publishes the connector.
Open ChatGPT in a browser and go to Settings → Apps.
Open Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode. (Workspace admins building this for a team: Workspace settings → Apps → Create turns it on as part of creating the app.)
Click Create and name the app CentralDesk.
Paste the MCP server URL from above.
When asked how to authenticate, choose OAuth.
Click Scan Tools. A CentralDesk sign-in window opens, sign in and approve access, then wait for the scan to finish.
Click Create to save it. On a Business/Enterprise/Edu workspace, an admin then publishes it from Workspace settings → Apps → Drafts so the rest of the team can use it too.
Start a new chat, open the tools menu, and pick CentralDesk (or @mention it) to use it in that message.
Custom connectors need a Pro or Enterprise Perplexity plan. This is Perplexity's newest connector support, so availability and menu names have moved more than once through 2026.
In Perplexity, click your profile icon in the lower left, then All settings.
In the left menu, click Connectors.
Click + Custom connector.
Give it a name, paste the MCP server URL from above, then click to expand Advanced.
Set Authentication to OAuth and Transport to Streamable HTTP, check the box confirming you understand custom connectors carry some risk, then click Add.
Find CentralDesk in the connector list and click it. A CentralDesk sign-in window opens, sign in and approve access.
Before you ask a question, click the + icon in a thread, open Connectors and sources, and make sure CentralDesk is checked. Perplexity only reads a connector when it's turned on for that thread.
59 tools at time of writing, grouped by what they cover. Most only read data; the ones marked WRITE change something — a live ad campaign, a budget, a keyword, or a support ticket — and only work within what you can already do in CentralDesk for the account you've connected.

This list reflects the tool catalog as of this writing. Tools are added over time — your assistant can always ask the server for its current, authoritative list.
When you connect an assistant, you sign in and choose one Amazon seller account, or one whole agency, to grant access to — the same choice you'd make connecting anything else to CentralDesk. That single choice is what scopes the connection; there's no separate toggle for individual tools or permissions beyond it.
Within the account or agency you choose, the assistant can read your catalog, advertising, sales, and search query data, and take the specific actions listed above as write: pausing or enabling ad campaigns, setting campaign budgets, adding negative keywords, updating brand search settings, refreshing product data, and opening or commenting on support tickets. It can never see or act on an account you didn't choose, and it can only do what you could already do yourself in CentralDesk for that account.
You can disconnect at any time from your assistant's own connector settings.
Connecting uses OAuth 2.1, so you never paste a password into your assistant. The server runs over HTTPS, validates request origins, and rate-limits requests to prevent abuse. For how your data is handled more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

The MCP server is included on every plan that has it enabled. Create an account, connect your Amazon business, then come back and connect your assistant.
